It wasn’t that long ago that I myself was starting out in business.  I still work 14 hour days waking up at 4:30am and ending my day at 9pm fitting in my own training and prioritising nutrition all the while figuring out how to move from Brisbane to Singapore and remain employed (actually, I was supposed to move to Kuala Lumpur but that’s another story).


Growing up in a high performance environment surrounded by triple Olympic gold medalists and making the finals at the Hobie 16 Sailing World Championships has taught me that performance in the pool, on the water, on the field and in the boardroom all require the same skills and that’s why high achievers, with the right guidance and guardrails, outperform everyone else when they apply those skills to their health and wellbeing.

Nutrition

Do I HAVE to count calories?

That depends.  We have clients seeing great results both tracking and not tracking; the most important part in all of this is that we create a sustainable approach for you and it really depends where you are in your health and fitness journey too.  Bottom line, if you want results, you should be willing to do what it takes to get results and if that means paying more attention to what you eat, I would expect you to do that.  This program is not for those who are allergic to hard work and building new skills.

Does this work for vegans and vegetarians?

Yes indeed it does.  One of my greatest success stories comes from a client who is vegetarian; she lost over 15kg since we started working together!

Does this work if I have food sensitivities and/or allergies?

Yes indeed! I myself am lactose intolerant so I feel you!

Will I need to give up alcohol or social events?

Can you believe, one of my clients who is 54, she managed to create results even with 17 social events where alcohol was present in December last year.  Again, the most important part of your journey is that we creating results that keep creating results.  That means, our approach needs to be sustainable and able to seamlessly integrate into your lifestyle.

Will I get the specific macros and calorie breakdown that I need?

Yes of course!  If you like details, we will give you all the details you need to succeed.

Do I need to take supplements?

That depends. Most people will benefits and see even greater results by incorporating 3-5 supplements into their daily routine; most of us are so short on time that sitting down to eat properly is a hard ask which can create nutritional deficiencies if we are not proactive with bloodwork informed supplement choices.

Fitness

How long does it take to see results?

Most people see tangible results within 2 weeks of applying the nutrition changes and training 3 times a week consistently though I’ve seen people lose 3.5% body fat in 1 week; it largely depends on what you’re currently doing with regards to your training and nutrition.

 

The gym is new to me, can I still get results?

Absolutely.  You do not need to be an avid ‘gym goer’ to get results.  With over 14 years’ experience in training, I’ve encountered many novice folk who have absolutely excelled.  All you need is a desire to get stronger and you will go far.

I am out of shape and haven’t exercised for 3+ years, can I really start with 3 times a week?

Yes.  Take it from someone who was in your exact shoes in 2010.  I had gained 15kg following injury and had not exercised for almost 3 years when I returned to the gym.  I started with 3 x 60min sessions a week just like you.  It was tough and the body learned how to adapt because I KEPT GOING!  That’s the key.  Let that be OUR stress, not yours.  Your tailor made program will factor in the ‘newness’ of training so that your body stands the best chance of recovering between sessions.  We will show you recovery techniques that will accelerate your recovery process too.  We will help you as much as you lean into us; the more questions you ask, the more we can help.

Health Conditions

What if I have a medical condition or injury?

Please disclose the details of the medical condition/s and/or injury/injuries on the registration form and speak with your trainer prior to your first session so that we can be adequately prepared.  Please also bring your medical clearance with you from your relevant allied health or medical professional.

Does this work if I’ve entered menopause?

You bet it does!  Some of the best results we’ve produced have come from women who have entered this chapter of life.

Program Logistics

How much time do I need to dedicate to all of this?

On average, setting aside 3-5 years will yield great results.  This is only 2-3% of your entire week.  If making change is important to you, this should be an easy committment to make.

Do I need access to a gym membership?

It can help though it’s not imperative.  It’s better to exercise often with less equipment than it is to never exercise at all or only when you have access to a gym if that’s a rare occurrent.

What happens if I travel?

We always have a plan because those who succeed always plan ahead.  Please share your travel schedule (even if tentative) so that we can ensure we plan your workouts and nutrition accordingly.  Rest assured, you will get results even with frequent travel!

How long do I have to commit for?

The longer, the better; how many times do you want to ‘start again?’  This program is only those who are committed to long lasting results.

With regards to training, the best results come to those who consistently train 3 times a week.

Do I have to have a weight loss or fat loss goals to be a part of the program?

Not at all though that is one of many benefits in our Executive Transformation Program.  We have busy working executives from all corners of the world reach out to improve their energy levels, optimise cognitive performance, increase productivity, reduce downtime due to illness and so much more.  Rest assured, weight loss or body composition is not high on your radar, you will reap many rewards being a part of this program.

How is the program delivered?
